As an E-RYT 500, YACEP I can provide yoga teacher training modules for your yoga schools or for your yoga teachers on staff.
Anatomy
I absolutely LOVE learning about anatomy especially when it relates to yoga. I love teaching teachers anatomy even more. It is a crucial part in developing or adding to your repertoire in order to provide the best and safest classes you can offer. My program can be tailored to a 200 hour YTT or 300 hour YTT. Often times this category is taught by a chiropractor, PT or someone that is not a yoga teacher. I’m here to deliver a well-rounded, interactive program that makes anatomy training accessible and fun. Yes, anatomy can be FUN!
Purposeful Sequencing
Do you ever leave some classes feeling better than in other classes? Even if you don’t realize it, the teacher most likely planned his/her class with the intention to make it a cohesive and achievable experience. There is a specific methodology and framework that I teach teachers in order to provide a class that is well-rounded, challenging and feels soooo good!
Assisting
The truest connection a teacher can have with his/her students is through assisting. The art of assisting is an art form. If the teacher is not confident or knowledgeable about assisting it can go quite wrong, possibly even causing injury. I have a continuing education format that will inspire your staff to have another tool in their toolbox that connects their students and brings them back to your studio.

Teacher Training Testimonials
We had Kim come and teach anatomy to our 200 hour Teacher Training program. Her course was structured, easy to follow and informative. Kim’s background in Yoga Therapy lent itself to deeper explanations when questions were asked. We were able to see on each other and the skeleton that she brought, exactly where things were, how they worked and most importantly, how the trainees could apply it to their teaching. It was a perfect mix of lecture and interactive activities!
During my last 200 hour YTT, I was fortunate enough to have Kim teach a full day workshop on purposeful sequencing. This workshop was a highlight of the training. Kim started off with a well rounded yoga practice and followed it up with open discussion. This led to a full day of interaction regarding sequencing in a path to a peak pose and how to properly prepare the body to get to that point. This was not merely a lecture; it was a full day of interaction and greatly sparked the interest and creativity of all the trainees. I highly recommend this for both new yoga teachers and seasoned yoga teachers. Kim added a layer to teaching yoga that is unforgettable!!
